An Evening with Chicago's Investment Community: Gar Wood at Invest For Kids
On Tuesday, July 21st, the Gar Wood Securities team joined Chicago's finance and investment community for Invest For Kids' summer event, "An Evening with Chicago's Investment Community," held at RPM on The Water.

The evening brought together investors, allocators, and industry leaders for relaxed conversation and networking, with a special thank you to Barry Levin for making it happen.
A highlight of the night was a featured conversation between Dan Drexler, CIO – Public Securities at Longview Asset Management (Crown Family Office), and Damien Coady, Chief Investment Officer at Pritzker Family Foundations. The two shared candid perspective on asset management, portfolio construction, and navigating markets in today's environment – offering a rare look into how two of Chicago's largest family offices are thinking about the road ahead.
Beyond the networking and conversation, the event was a chance to learn more about Invest For Kids' mission and the impact the organization is making for local youth across Chicago, as well as a preview of what's ahead for its signature Investable Ideas Conference this fall.
